On June 7th, 2025, Grand Parade in Cork, Ireland, became the stage for two starkly opposing protests. On one side, a pro-Palestine rally attracted thousands of supporters from across the Munster region. On the other, a counter protest led by far-right movements and nationalist groups. Separating the two demonstrations was a no man's land, occupied mostly by gardai (Irish police forces), legal observers, journalists, and occasional tourists or locals hoping to park their cars. At the barriers, activists from both sides waved signs, shouted slogans and occasionally exchanged provocations.
